Papajo Eatery at Puri

Sounds a good news in West Jakarta when there's a new restaurant coming to this area. Located at the heart of Puri area, Papajo Eatery was the latest restaurant that just opened.

Honestly, I was often travel to Puri Indah area especially when passing by to Lippo Mal Puri but I have no idea why I missed a sight to this place. But, thanks God I do not miss this for too long. It just opened for about 2-3 weeks ago.

Papajo Eatery located just outside of the Lippo Mal Puri and it was beside the Fctry Bistro. Seems easy to find it right?

Trying to be honest, when we first time enter to this place, the white clean and playful scene was the most dominant thing that we imagine (in a positive way). The combination between white and the pastel color for the interior is just too nice! Love how they play with the color.

When the white scene isn't enough, the sunlight through the window was really helpful to make it more bright and this is why it will be make an instagenic pictures.

Our curiosity about what Papajo's dishes was also surprising. We thought it will an all Western dishes but they also serving both Asian and Indonesian food. After a few minutes, we decided to have a Mac and Cheese Fries (37k) for our appetizer.

Umm, not too special for us, the mac & cheese was good and combined with french fries is just okay. Nothing special about the appetizer menu.

The Rosemary Grilled Chicken (52k) was my choice for the main course. The chicken breast was tasty and quite tender. The mushroom sauce I think was pretty good. I loved the rosemary flavor when I took the first bite.

The second main course was Fried Pork Loin with Butter Rice (52k) and this was ordered by Windy. From her perspective, the pork loin was tasty and tender, with the black pepper sauce made it even better. What does she loved was in the butter rice, it's really satisfying for her.

Cafe Latte (28k)

It was really good time spent our lunch at Papajo, will come for another visit for sure. And by the way thanks to Papajo's owner to send us a complimentary, Espresso Ice Ball.
